About The Project

The BC Government and the Prince George School District have taken action to improve student safety by replacing the nearly 60-year-old Kelly Road Secondary School with a larger, LEED Gold certified, state-of-the-art Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary School. The former school was built in the early 1960’s, and had reached the end of its useful life.

Enviro-Ex has been awarded the abatement and demolition of the old Kelly Road Secondary School, in addition to the civil construction of 2 new sports fields, roadways, bus lanes, and parking lots in the second phase of this project. The hazardous materials abatement includes the safe removal and disposal of asbestos, mercury, and mold.
