Zoro Saftey Incidents

About The Project

The scope of this heavy civil project included the construction of a new rest area and widening of Highway 16 east of Burns Lake, BC, to accommodate a deceleration lane and left turn lane into the newly constructed rest area. Construction commenced in late fall 2019, with Enviro-Ex working in adverse weather conditions to complete the project prior to the winter.

To accommodate the heavy traffic volumes, we worked in panels to excavate, backfill, and pave in a single shift. Our streamlined processes prevented uneven surfaces along the travel lane of the existing highway, ensuring traffic was able to safely commute through the work zone without incident.
